Three Kings Building Portland Window Cleaning

Historical Three Kings Building

portland window cleaning three kings buildingWe were asked to participate in this project in the fall of 2009. The building stands at about 45ft with windows around 2 sides of the building. We used water fed pole technology for the exterior windows (washed 3 times) they had about 5 years worth of road grime on the exteriors and the interior was recently fully renovated. By using water fed poles on the exterior were were able to clean the glass as well as the framework which was terribly dirty from years of neglect.

Luckily we carried water on board becausemark poole from portland window cleaning water was a bit scarce around the building. We decided to clean the glass on a Sunday (less foot traffic) which worked out well. The inside windows were covered in a fine dust from the installation of the floor and counters. We also had a challenge of a staircase located right over one of the main 30ft high windows that dropped 20ft down into the basement. We had to build a support structure and mount the ladder on top to access the massive window overhead.

A 32ft ladder was used on the interior to clean the top section of windows. Of course the floor was brand new so we had to be very careful not to drag the feet. All in all this project took 1 day about 24 man hours to clean. Quite a project for a Sunday.

  1. Wow, beautiful job. Your window cleaning business is obviously one of the most trusted in the Portland area. Not just any company is allowed to clean windows on historical buildings like those.
